Miami loves Mike but what does Mike think of Miami? We stole a couple of minutes of his time to find out.

What made Miami special?

I played a pool party there with my friends and fellow collaborators Dante Klein and Sam Feldt which was a lot of fun. Miami is always crazy!

Did anything make you feel nostalgic?

It was the third time I’ve done Miami Music Week and every time it feels different. The first time, I had to get used to everything and didn’t know a lot of people which has definitely changed as I feel a lot more at home now.

Your favourite beach or pool there?

The Nautilus Hotel on South Beach for its amazing saltwater beachfront pool. My record label Spinnin’ Records take it over during Miami Music Week and rename it Spinnin’ Hotel—our pool parties are the best!

Any top tips?

The Sushi Samba restaurant has the best sushi ever.

Where do you like to wear your OB shorts?

I took them on tour with me so they were perfect for wearing in hotel spas and swimming pools when I had some downtime.

Bucket list destination

So many places but I’d love to go to Australia.
