Beautiful Destinations have carved out a reputation for curating stunning imagery and footage from sought-after locations across the globe, creating an impressive social community along the way. The creative agency was founded by brothers Jeremy and Tom Jauncey and we teamed up with them to showcase three of their favourite images. We picked the brain of serial traveller and entrepreneur, Jeremy, to find out his globe-trotting tips and tricks.

Tell us your earliest holiday memory?

Sailing down the Upper Amazon with my parents. I was born in Venezuela and at the weekends we’d take trips into the jungles to explore—Dad was a photographer so the travel and photo bug was caught early!

You’re always on the move so talk us through your suitcase essentials...

OB Jacks, Apple watch and heart-rate monitor for hitting the gym, some hair clay, a good moisturiser and fragrance for being out and about, noise-cancelling headphones and my laptop for work plus a good book (I like organised crime, forensic pathology and business bios) for relaxing!

What are your best holiday recommendations for...

Relaxation? Massage! Traveling and training take it out of your body so I’m a big believer in hitting the spa on holiday.

Thrill seeking? Use Instagram! I always search the Geo tags of places I’m visiting to see who’s taken adventurous photos of things in the area. In the Philippines for example I’d already planned canyoneering, rock climbing and cliff diving just through Instagram before I arrived.

Culture? I do the same as above for culture but also love connecting with local content creators who know the best places to shoot and explore. There is an amazing community all over the world on social media who connect you to local culture like nobody else.

What made you want to work with Orlebar Brown?

I’ve loved the brand and had been a customer for years before we met Adam. Learning how much our brands have in common, with a celebration and feeling of summer, positivity and exploring the world it made a lot of sense to collaborate. We’re constantly asked to turn our images into prints and products so working with a brand I love to create a limited-edition collaboration was amazing.

What’s next and where is left on your list?

South America is still very high on my list given how little of the continent I’ve done. Seeing the migration of the safari animals in Africa or the penguin marches in the Arctic has to be up there too. I’m headed back to New York now, then onto Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
