Spanning 60 feet, the massive collage “Leaves of Grass” created by Canadian artist Geoffrey Farmer is one of the highlights of this years dOCUMENTA (13) exhibition in Kassel, Germany. The dOUCUMENTA festival is held every 5 years, and it contains works by over 200 artists. For his collage Farmer cut out pictures from US “Life Magazine” creating a diorama of 50 years of American visual culture. (Designboom)
