The Breast Stroke
Don’t be put off by the popularity of this stroke amongst elderly ladies – breast stroke is the lifeguard’s stroke of choice. It can be swum faster if submerged completely, however this will quickly lead to disqualification in recognized international competition, and possibly some stinging in the eyes. The outward sweep of your arms should propel your head clear of the water. Your head emerges once per cycle, in order to inhale oxygen through the mouth and orient yourself in open water rescue missions. Now re-submerge and thrust with the legs, exhaling as you glide in a streamlined fashion with arms out in front. Aim to minimize drag by never dressing as a member of the opposite sex. The key to success in breaststroke is symmetry and good timing, but mainly gigantic feet.

Items sent outside the U.S. will incur a handling fee from the carrier not included in the postage price.
